Every number is the garment, in inches — not your body. Chest is the full circumference: laid flat, measured across and doubled. Sleeve is measured from the shoulder seam to the cuff (the hoodie sleeve runs about half an inch shorter). Sweatshirt and hoodie share the same chest and length — S to 3XL; Classic Tee S to 5XL. The chart shows the style you have picked. Allow about an inch either way.

Easiest way: copy a sweatshirt you already like. Lay it flat, smooth out the wrinkles, and take these three with a tape or a ruler.

Chest — straight across, an inch below the armhole seam, then double it.
Length — from the high point of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.
Sleeve — from the shoulder seam to the cuff.

Then pick the row closest to those numbers — chest first, it decides the fit. Nothing to copy? Measure around the fullest part of your chest, tape level and not pulled tight, and add room on top: we’d add about 4″ for the fit it is cut for, 2″ if you like it close, 6″ if you like it loose.
